The Regional Province of Catania, located in southern of Sicily, is looking for partners to address the call of proposal within the framework of 2008 Program concerning financial support and contracts in the fields of the transports and the energy. The main goal of the proposed Program is obtaining a grant for a preparatory action in view to defining specific strategies, tailored to European Islands potential, to implement the European Energy Policy as far as sustainable energy is concerned. We would like to highlight that the Province of Catania has just created a Provincial Agency for the Energy, and last year has approved a Provincial Energetic Plan. Moreover, Catania has already got a good experience in partnership of cooperation transnational plans (3 INTERREG and 2 INTERACT in the last 5 years).
