12-02-2008 Transferability Workshops and Partners meeting
During three days, starting 12 February, stakeholders from the partner regions of R4R will meet in ´sHertogenbosch, The Netherlands. The purpose is to continue the match-making process during which partners have chosen best practices, or some aspects of them that they would like to transfer to their own region. This meeting will be a further step in the process and a first chance for representatives from giving and receiving regions to meet each other. Some project observers will also participate in the workshops.

12-09-2007 Observers Workshop
As a first step in the recently developed R4R Observers Programme new project observers are invited to a workshop on how to present information on Best Practices in the template on Knowledge Transfer Schemes developed by R4R. The aim of the workshop is to encourage the observers to present some best practices themselves which will be included in the catalogue published by R4R at the end of its activities. The workshop will be held in Brussels on 12 September 2007.

12-07-2007 R4R Observers`meeting
During a meeting on the 12th of July in Brussels potential observers (regional bodies that are interested in the R4R project) and R4R partners will have an opportunity to discuss a potential cooperation and be informed about the new R4R Observers` Programme. One invited speaker is Mr Marnix Surgeon from DG Research, who will give his view on the OMC NET programme and the importance of interregional cooperation in R&D.

Innovation Society Conference
14-6-2007, Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands
Representatives from R4R will take part in the Innovation Society conference, which is an international conference on innovation. This years edition is being organised by the province of Noord-Brabant. The conference will be a working conference with three interactive workshop sessions on five themes.
