 10th Mar 2010 PEOPLE conference Social & e-inclusion, Noord-Brabant, NL Bits, bytes, the community & quality of life! On 10 and 11 March 2010, the Province of Noord-Brabant in the Netherlands will host the two-day International workconference & study visit on the theme of Social & e-inclusion as part of the PEOPLE project. The Province of Noord-Brabant is drawer of the subtheme Social & e-inclusion. Central to this theme is the use of ICT to develop innovative solutions and practices aimed at realising social objectives. ICT as an opportunity and tool to promote the participation of vulnerable groups, social cohesion and liveable communities. Stockholm region is represented by Per Granfalk, Vice Mayor of the City of Solna. 25th Feb 2010 CIBUS5 sub-project holds Kick-off Meeting in Seville The CIBUS5 sub-project is holding its Kick-off Meeting on the 25th of February in Seville. The meeting is organised by the Andalusia Foundation for Social Integration and Assistance with the collaboration of the Andalusia Foundation Red Andalucía Emprende, the Employment Agency Södermaln of the Stockholm region and the West Sussex County Council of the South East England region. CIBUS5, which stands for the Promotion of Social and Labour Integration Companies, is aimed at social entreprises particularly, although not uniquely, those that promote employment and social inclusion amongst hard to reach groups. |
24th Feb 2010. HOME04 holds Kick-off Meeting in Seville The HOME04 sub-project is holding its Kick-off Meeting on the 24th of February in Seville. The partnership of the project consists of the Andalusia Foundation for Social Integration and Assistance, the City of Seville, the Andalusia Health Services, the City of Granada, the City of Venice from the Veneto region and the Employment Agency Södermaln of the Stockholm region. |
 1st Dec 2009 Sub-projects approved under the PEOPLE programme During the 3rd Steering Committee Meeting held in Madrid the 16th of November 2009, the PEOPLE partnership agreed to approve for financing 7 Sub-projects. Stockholm region is actively participating in the following 4 sub-projects: - DIVERSIA sub-project aims at studying new family models and demographic changing from the gender and multicultural approach. - HOME04, which full title is Networking for Integrated Care Homeless, will analyse and pay attention to homeless people through integrated development policies with a local focus, promoting the participation of homeless people developing and using ICT solutions to improve care and to promote inclusion. - CIBUS5 stands for the Promotion of Social and Labour Integration Companies, and is aimed at social enterprises particularly, although not uniquely, those that promote employment and social inclusion amongst hard to reach groups. - SHAREIT objective is to improve effectiveness of local and regional policies related to social and e-inclusion through a wide exchange of experiences, addressed at identifying good practices on the efficient use of ICT to foster integration. |

17th Jun 2009 The PEOPLE Programme is now launched! The call for proposals is now opened and will close on 15 September 2009.
